In her role, Bailey Rose builds relationships and collaborative opportunities with key influencers across her region, which includes educators, school food service professionals, school leadership, health professionals and community leaders, to prioritize and elevate the health of children and families through nutrition.
As a Community Nutrition Adviser, Bailey utilizes her expertise in human development to enhance her ability to create and teach nutrition education strategies within schools and communities. Her passion for understanding human development enhances her ability to build sustainable relationships with school administrators, school nutrition and food service professionals, educators and community health and education leaders. Through these partnerships, she is able to implement effective strategies to teach students healthy eating patterns and values for milk and dairy foods with the aim of instilling lifelong healthy habits.
She is a member of the California School Nutrition Association, Co-Chair of the Healthy Students Initiative of Sonoma County and a regional representative supporting the work of the Smarter Lunchrooms Movement of California and the California Local School Wellness Policy Collaboratives.
Bailey earned a B.S. in Human Development from the University of California, Davis.
