In this episode of Ask a Nutritionist, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Maria Frye answers the question, “How are dairy foods enjoyed around the world?” 

Many cultures around the world enjoy eating dairy foods in different ways. Milk and dairy foods offer a unique package of nutrients that work together to provide multiple health benefits including optimal growth and development in children and reduced risk of chronic disease. An important part of many cultural food traditions throughout the world, milk, cheese and yogurt are cooked and consumed in various ways like milk served warm or cheese eaten as a dessert after a meal.
