Farm to You Builder Activity Slides

Educational slide decks for Google Classroom integration. Includes a physical activity to reinforce the topic.

Now available in English and Spanish.

“How Do Dairy Foods Go from Farm to You?” Students explore our food system and learn how dairy travels from the farm to their home or school. Students explain what they learned and set a goal to show their gratitude to one person involved in the food system.

Builder activities provide an explanation of a topic, activities to explore the topic further and a goal-setting application to empower students to apply their learning and put healthy habits into practice. To support teaching this activity educator instructions are embedded in the first few slides which include instructions, fast facts, tutorials and standards alignments.

This collection of nutrition resources align to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, incorporates a behavior change model and reinforces making small steps to a healthier lifestyle.
