Sydney Dawes is the foreman for Dairy Council of California’s distribution center and has proudly managed the warehouse for over 35 years. His commitment to getting nutrition resources out to schools and community stakeholders has not wavered in his long tenure, evident in his enthusiasm and passion for the important work he does to support the organization. 

As the foreman, Sydney coordinates all packaging, shipping and receiving of nutrition education resources, helping schools, hospitals and organizations access the free resources they need to teach millions of students and families how to eat healthfully each year. He also supports staff by supplying them with the resources they need when out in the field. Enthusiastic about helping people, soccer and music, Sydney is always smiling and ready to help his teammates get their job done. 

Sydney’s bright and cheerful demeanor is inspiring, inviting his colleagues to see the brighter side of life and celebrate the accomplishments the organization has achieved over its 100+ year legacy. His values relationships and the strength of collaboration. He believes that by providing partners with quality nutrition education resources, he is doing his part to ensure that children and families are given the knowledge and building blocks they need to make healthier eating choices.
