Miranda Blagg combines her passion for people with agricultural knowledge and communications expertise in her role as an office coordinator at Dairy Council of California. Miranda supports the Mobile Dairy Classroom program,
coordinating with schools across California to bring Mobile Dairy Classroom assemblies to their schools to teach ag literacy. She also liaises with state and county fairs throughout California to provide them with an educational dairy display that
teaches ag literacy and supports the farm experience.
Growing up in California’s Central Valley on a farm, Miranda’s first-hand knowledge and advocacy for the important work of farmers, producers and the agriculture community as a whole began at an early age. Miranda is a cowgirl at heart, having
raised her own dairy cows and participated in programs like 4-H, which led her to pursuing an education in animal science.
After leaving college, Miranda joined Hilmar Cheese Company as a tour and media specialist, teaching children, families and the public about Hilmar’s cheese-making process and dairy’s role in healthy eating patterns. Her passion for educating
children and families and empowering healthier communities through nutrition is what inspired her to join the Dairy Council of California team.
Miranda holds a B.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis in production management from California State University, Fresno.
