Miranda Blagg combines her passion for people with agricultural knowledge and communications expertise in her role as an Industry Relations Coordinator at Dairy Council of California.
Growing up in California’s Central Valley on a farm, Miranda’s first-hand knowledge and advocacy for the important work of farmers, producers and the agriculture community as a whole began at an early age. Miranda is a “cow” girl at heart, having raised her own dairy cows and participated in programs like 4-H, which led her to pursuing an education in animal science.
After leaving college, Miranda joined Hilmar Cheese Company as a tour and communication specialist, teaching children, families and the public about Hilmar’s cheese-making process and dairy’s role in healthy eating patterns. Her passion for educating children and families and empowering healthier communities through nutrition is what inspired her to join the Dairy Council of California team.
Miranda holds a B.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis in production management from California State University, Fresno.
