Kim Beach has been a valued part of the Dairy Council of California family for more than 16 years. Over the years, Kim’s position has evolved alongside the needs of the organization. In her current role as the marketing specialist, Kim supports marketing outreach efforts by developing, coordinating and distributing direct mail and email marketing communications.
Kim’s deep interest in content development and creative design fuels her commitment to supporting the facilitation of the organization’s print resources, serving her well as print production lead. She also manages inventory, keeping abreast of available resources to ensure organizational partners, including educators, health professionals, influencers and community leaders, are supported to teach children and families about nutrition.
With over a decade of expertise in banking and having successfully raised three children into adults, Kim is an expert at organization, budgeting and innovative solutions. As the organization’s print procurement lead, Kim ensures all purchases are compliant with organizational and state-mandated guidelines, meet the needs of the organization and provide the most value.
Kim joined Dairy Council of California because of her passion for improving the health of children, families and communities through nutrition and her belief in the organization’s cause, which aligns to her personal values. An adventurous epicurean, Kim believes that food is life and that consuming a wide variety of foods is essential to good health and happiness. Through education, she believes that all children and their families can develop the tools and knowledge necessary to eat healthfully, which sets the foundation for lifelong health.
