Alyssa serves as a Program Director in the Partnerships and Programs Department. She is an experienced change maker whose work has impacted healthy changes for youth and adults in the classroom, afterschool, home and community through both individual education and policy settings. Alyssa has been an active leader for the Local School Wellness Policy Collaborative as the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) Domain co-chair. Through her work in community nutrition education, she has been able to build local, state, and regional partnerships with key stakeholders in education, health care, non-profit, public health/government agencies, and community-based organizations. She also has a wide range of experience working in diverse communities with individuals and families of all backgrounds.

Alyssa earned a M.S. in Counseling and Students Services from California State University of Fresno. 

Along with our dairy farm families, I am committed to raising awareness and access to healthy eating and physical activity. Through collaboration with local and state organizations this commitment can come to life; all while raising the next generation of change makers.
