This 8-page booklet provides expectant mothers and breast-feeding women with information on healthy weight gain, physical activity and nutritional needs during this exciting time.

The family of nutrition resources align to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, incorporates a behavior change model and reinforces making small steps to a healthier lifestyle. All booklets have been approved by the California Department of Health Care Services as meeting readability and suitability requirements for Medi-Cal managed care plans and are available in English and Spanish.

These booklets can be used one-on-one, as a handout or in a group setting.
