Select Day of the Week:

Take your students on a virtual field trip and visit a California dairy farm!

Visit a dairy farm virtually with Dairy Council of California, Real California Milk, and the Mobile Dairy Classroom - the original “farm to school” program in California! During our virtual field trips, students will learn all about dairy farming, including how milk and dairy foods are produced and the nutritional benefits of dairy products. These virtual field trips are the perfect fit for your school’s distance learning program during the COVID-19 pandemic

First stop on our 45-minutes virtual field trips is the Mobile Dairy Classroom, where students will learn all about cows, from their anatomy to how they produce milk. Student will then zoom over to a real California dairy farm for a virtual tour. They’ll meet real farmers and see how dairy cows are fed and milked, learn how farmers care for their dairy cows, and discover the sustainability measures dairy farmers implement on their farms. Our virtual farm field trips end with Q&A, providing students the opportunity to engage with the farmers and ask their questions.
