A hearty favorite to complement any meal!

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups all-purpose Flour
1/3 cup yellow Cornmeal
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons skim Milk
2 tablespoons vegetable Oil
1 Egg, beaten
Vegetable cooking spray

Preparation:

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine milk, oil, and egg; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

Drop batter by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool on a wire rack.

Yield: 1 dozen biscuits (about 96 calories each).
