Morgan Carey supports school administrators, educators, nutrition and food service professionals, and community health and education leaders by providing programs, strategies and expertise to encourage and empower children and families to make healthier food choices. 

Morgan is a Certified Technical Advising Professional for the Smarter Lunchrooms Movement of California and a member of the CA Local School Wellness Policy Collaborative . In this capacity, Morgan uses her nutrition expertise to help school communities build and improve on the school wellness environment as well as educate children about making healthier food choices a part of their daily eating habits.

Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a member of the Central Coordinated Health and Safety Committee for Los Angeles Unified School District.
