Opportunity to Join Our Team: 
The Dairy Council of California is seeking a full-time Operations Officer at our Sacramento, California headquarters. This position is responsible for setting and implementing prioritized Operations strategies to ensure Dairy Council programs effectively achieve successful plan outcomes. As part of the organization leadership the Operations Officer is responsible for the organization achieving optimum business and financial performance. 

This position will also provide leadership to foster a culture where staff are motivated and supported in their professional growth while accomplishing organizational goals. 

Position Qualifications: 
To qualify you must have a B.S. in business, accounting, or related field; prefer eight years management and supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master’s degree in business or accounting and CPA preferred. Proficient in accounting software and spreadsheets, knowledge of word processing and database programs. Must be PC literate and be able to use standard business software and applications.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard scientific, educational, and technical journals and financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or education or business community members. Ability to effectively present information, verbally or in writing, to management, public and professional groups, consultants, or board of directors. 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to define and address problems requiring analysis of multiple variables or situations, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and procedures in creating and selecting appropriate strategies with minimal direction. Ability to interpret an extensive array of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with issues involving multiple abstract and concrete variables. Must be able to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously.

Salary Range:
$142,603 - $183,215
