A great variation on chicken burgers. Try the Turkey version!


1 pound ground chicken or turkey
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
2 green onions
2 Tbsp barbecue sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp salt
vegetable oil spray (optional)


In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except vegetable oil spray. Use your hands to mix ingredients thoroughly. Shape mixture into 6 patties.
Grill over medium-hot coals for 4-5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Or preheat broiler and lightly spray the rack of an unheated broiler pan with vegetable oil. Place patties an rack. Broil 3-4 inches from heat for 4-5 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
