Activity + Eating for Adults: A Healthier You

This 8-page booklet translates current nutrition advice to specific action steps for making balanced food choices from MyPlate food groups and embedding physical activity into daily routines. For greater impact use the accompanying PowerPoint Presentation in person or online.

The family of nutrition resources align to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, incorporates a behavior change model and reinforces making small steps to a healthier lifestyle. All booklets have been approved by the California Department of Health Care Services as meeting readability and suitability requirements for Medi-Cal managed care plans and are available in English and Spanish.

These booklets can be used one-on-one, as a handout or in a group setting.
