Maureen Bligh, MA, RDN

Maureen Bligh, MA, RDN, is Program Director, Resource Development and Marketing, at Dairy Council of California. Maureen’s interest in nutrition grew from her upbringing and her parents’ value for balanced family meals, which inspired her to become a registered dietitian nutritionist. Her passion for nutrition centers on educating and empowering people to make the best choices for their health.

With over 30 years of experience at Dairy Council of California, Maureen works to develop, direct and coordinate resource development and marketing to elevate the health of children and parents in California through the pursuit of lifelong healthy eating habits. She is known among her colleagues as the "common sense dietitian," offering practical, reality-based nutrition advice from her experiences raising her two sons.

Maureen is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the book club lead for the Silicon Valley Dietetics Association. When she’s not overseeing resource development or marketing at work, Maureen likes to cook, travel, hike and play the piano. Maureen earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Food Administration at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and her Master of Arts in Education from California State University, Sacramento.
