Ashley RosalesAshley Rosales, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, is the Program Director of Community Health and Nutrition Science for Dairy Council of California where she oversees programs that improve community health through nutrition education and access to nutritious foods. Driven by Dr. Bruce Daggy’s quote, “Let’s build wellness rather than treating disease,” Ashley specializes in applying consensus research to nutrition education program development, addressing needs within the community health environment to eliminate health disparities while contributing to organizational communications and strategic planning. 

Ashley serves as a steering committee member for the California Local School Wellness Policy Collaborative. She is on the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Public Policy Council and is a member of the California Conference of Local Health Department Nutritionists policy committee to inform elected officials on key health, nutrition and food issues as well as policies and legislation that impact the health of Californians. 

Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California at Davis and completed her dietetic internship program at Napa State Hospital. Born and raised in Northern California’s Sonoma County, she currently lives in the Sacramento area with her husband and two children.
