Creative Cow Challenge

Use the provided handout and have your students express their creativity and share what they learned during the Mobile Dairy Classroom assembly. Selected entries will be posted on this webpage under Best-of-the-Herd.

Challenge Instructions:

1. Make one copy of the cow template for each student.
2. Pass out the day or week following the Mobile Dairy Classroom assembly.
3. Students “Create-A-Cow” using the template and write what they learned.
4. Include name, school, teacher, grade and Mobile Dairy Classroom visit date on each entry.
5. Mail entries to: Dairy Council of California, 1101 National Drive, Suite B, Sacramento, CA 95834.
6. Check Mobile Dairy Classroom for selected entries to be posted at HealthyEating.org.
7. Kindergarten through fifth grade students are eligible to participate.
8. One entry per student. Entry must include student’s name, school, teacher and Mobile Dairy Classroom assembly date on the drawing
