14 1/2 ounce can original style stewed Tomatoes1 1/2 cups chicken Broth1 1/4 cups uncooked white Rice1 tablespoon Butter2 teaspoons Chili powder3/4 teaspoon Oregano1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Reduce the sodium in this recipe by using low-sodium chicken broth.To make a main dish:Add 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained or 2 chicken breast, cooked and shredded. Place all ingredients in greased casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° oven for about 20-25 minutes.
