Make it into a main dish by adding ground beef or chicken and you have dinner in a flash!

Ingredients:

14 1/2 ounce can original style stewed Tomatoes
1 1/2 cups chicken Broth
1 1/4 cups uncooked white Rice
1 tablespoon Butter
2 teaspoons Chili powder
3/4 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes or until rice is tender.

Cook's Notes:

Reduce the sodium in this recipe by using low-sodium chicken broth.

To make a main dish:Add 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained or 2 chicken breast, cooked and shredded. Place all ingredients in greased casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° oven for about 20-25 minutes.
