Cute Halloween meal


1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 carrot, grated
1 md yellow onion, diced
3 Tbs butter
3 Tbs flour
1 3/4 cups beef broth
3 Tbs ketchup
2 Tbs worcestershire
1 (10oz) pkg frozen peas
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
8 servings mashed potatoes
Salt & pepper


1) Pre-heat oven to 375 and lightly grease 3 qt casserole dish.

2) Brown beef in lg skillet over md high heat. Drain. Push meat to side and saute carrot & onion 4-5 min.

3) Push carrot & onoin to side and melt butter. Whisk flour into butter, then stir everything together.

4) Add broth, ketchup, & worcestershire & cook for 5 min. Season with salt & pepper, then add peas.

5) Spoon mixture into casserole.

6) Spoon mashed potatoes into lg ziplock bag & cut 1/2" opening in one corner. Squeeze into 4" tall ghost shapes. Add spice seeds for eyes.

7) Bake pie for 20-25 min until sauce is bubbling & ghosts are lightly browned.
